A marketplace where the maker is the hero.
Saheli Bazaar was built for the million women in India who already cook, stitch, paint, and craft for their families — and would love to do it for the world, too. We handle the tech, the payments, and the logistics. You bring the craft.
Women-first
Every seller on Saheli Bazaar is a woman. We believe craft is a ladder out of economic dependence.
Small-batch, real hands
No resellers, no factories. What you buy was made by a person whose name is on the shop.
Fair trade
Zero listing fees. Sellers keep ~90% of every sale. Full transparency on every order.
Why handmade matters
When you buy a kurti from Lata in Lucknow or a jar of pickle from Meera in Jaipur, the money goes into her hands. Not a middleman's. Not a factory's. And the product you get is something mass production cannot replicate: a thing made slowly, with intention.
We're starting small. 10 sellers. 30 products. A strict “handmade only” policy. As we grow, we're committing to one number: at least 90% of every rupee goes to the maker.
Every jar, every stitch, every brushstroke is a quiet act of independence.
Thank you for buying handmade.
